Ministries

Lakeshore Baptist Church

The goal of all Lakeshore Baptist Church's ministries is to see God glorified as we seek to be faithful in helping to make commited followers of Jesus Christ. We offer a number of ongoing and short-term ministries.

Adult
Adult Bible Fellowship
Ongoing groups for adult Bible study and fellowship at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday.
Small Groups
Small groups are designed to help the members grow as followers of Christ through Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and encouragement in serving Christ.
Music Ministry
Vocalists and instrumentalists have opprotunities as individuals or as part of a group to participate in the musical portions of all worship services.
Prayer
Prayer meetings are held on Wednesday evenings and Friday mornings. Anyone with an immediate prayer need may call the church at 429-5611.
Women's Ministries
Lakeshore Baptist Church's Women's Ministry holds fellowship events including get-togethers, showers, and outings several times per year.
Scrapbooking Club
The Scrapbooking Club meets once per month. Anyone who enjoys scrapbooking is welcome anytime. Those interested in other crafts are also welcome to come and craft alongside the scrapbookers.
Young at Heart
This group for the young at heart (ages 50 and over) meets several times per year for a meal or service project.
Youth
Youth Sunday School
Bible study and fellowship for students at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday.
Awana
Awana is an international, nondenominational program that teaches kids what the Bible says about Jesus and how to follow Him. At Lakeshore Baptist Church the program is offered to children in Kindergarten through the 12th Grade. Meetings are on Wednesdays, September through April. Youth who participate in Awana at Lakeshore Baptist Church are involved in Bible study and are Leaders in Training helping younger children learn valuable Bible skills.

SERVE
SERVE is a one-week, Christ-centered, community service outreach project for high schoolers offered through the nondenominational organization Youth Unlimited. Lakeshore Baptist Church hosts a SERVE project every summer with a focus on serving the people of the Benton Harbor community.

Children
Nursery
Nursery provided for infants and young children during the Sunday School hour and during the Worship Service each Sunday.
Sunday School
Sunday school for children in pre-school through 5th grade meets at 9:15 a.m. each Sunday.
Awana

Individual learning, group learning, and game time are highlighted.

The Children's Choir practices for a short time during the Worship Service each Sunday, and sings during the Worship Service several times per year.
