Beginning May 10, LBC's young adults will experience
"A Summer of Ideas". What about
Baptists and baptism? Gay rights and gay marriage? Christian universalism? What does
spiritual liberty say about political freedoms? Some issues just aren't being talked about
in our Evangelical churches today...but they should be!
Summer Intergenerational Sunday School Class (Sundays at 9:15am)
Beginning May 31, LBC's Sunday School Hour will be intergenerational. All ages groups, except the
College and Young Careers' Class, will meet together. The topics will be provided by two series pro-
duced by
Answers in Genesis: "The Beginnings" and "Questions". A few of the questions that we will
discuss include: Where did God come from? How old is the earth? How did God create in six days?
What about dinosaurs? Was there an ice age? This material has been designed to help children and
their parents to develop a creation-based biblical worldview. The questions that will be addressed are
of interest to both children and adults and this will be an opportunity for everyone to have more
intergenerational interaction.
